Urine flowing back towards the stoma when sitting or lying down is a common problem with a urostomy bag. The Assura multi-chamber bag is divided into chambers that hold the urine down and prevent it from returning to the skin. The bag stays flatter against the abdomen and the liquid moves less when walking or changing position.

The Assura urostomy bag fits onto an existing flange, so the skin around the stoma is less stressed between changes. Its internal chambers keep urine in the bottom of the pouch, even when sitting or lying down.
