On wrinkled or fissured skin around the stoma, the skin barrier does not conform to all crevices, leading to leaks. The Brava barrier ring can be molded with your fingertips before application, then placed around the stoma to fill these uneven areas and create a tight seal under the skin barrier.

The Brava Protective Seal acts as a protective layer between the skin and the skin barrier, where adhesive alone leaves gaps. It stretches and molds by hand to closely follow the contours of the stoma, even when the skin is retracted.
