On moist skin around the stoma, the adhesive on the barrier will not stick well and will detach faster. Brava powder absorbs this moisture and leaves a dry surface before applying the pouch or skin barrier.
- Apply in a thin layer to the moist area, just before application
- Remove excess before applying the barrier, so as not to impair adhesion
Brava stoma powder is used when the skin around the stoma remains moist and prevents the barrier from adhering properly. A small amount is sufficient on irritated or weeping areas, then remove the excess before applying the pouch.
