For a bedridden person, repeated liquid stools require frequent cleaning and the skin around the anus quickly becomes irritated. The SoftFlex fecal collector is applied directly to this area with an adhesive skin barrier that keeps the stool inside the bag. The bag is then connected to a drainage system for continuous collection without having to remove it between episodes.
