During colostomy irrigation, effluent should be directed directly into the toilet without anything having to be held by hand. The New Image irrigator drain attaches to the already-fitted flange and channels stool downwards, allowing you to remain seated until the irrigation is complete.

The New Image irrigation sleeve is only used during irrigation, then makes way for your usual pouch. It attaches to the same flange, so the skin barrier stays in place on the skin and the routine requires no cutting.
