When the wrist really needs to be rested, a short orthosis still allows pronation and supination of the forearm. The ManuLoc Long is 7 cm longer than the standard version and its three pre-shaped aluminum stays extend up the forearm to block flexion, extension and rotation of the hand. The fingers remain free, so the hand can still grasp objects during healing.
