The ManuLoc Rhizo first immobilizes the wrist and thumb, then adapts to the course of treatment. Its thumb support loosens with a Velcro tab, then removes completely when the base of the thumb becomes mobile enough. The hand remains supported while the fingers relearn to grasp objects.
