The New Image convex wafer is the base for a two-piece system. Its opening is pre-cut, so it can be applied directly, without scissors or a template at each change. The convex profile hugs the stoma and maintains regular contact with the skin.
- The pouch attaches to the wafer and can be replaced without removing the skin barrier
- Without an adhesive border, removal is gentler, and an adhesive tape can be added as needed
- The opening remains exactly the same size from one change to the next
On a flush stoma, a flat barrier can quickly lose contact. The New Image convex collar gently presses all around to protrude the stoma and maintain a secure seal between changes. Since the opening is pre-cut, application remains quick.
