On a slightly retracted urinary stoma or one surrounded by uneven skin, a flat barrier often ends up peeling off at one edge. The Flextend convex barrier of the Premier pouch gently presses all around the stoma to maintain even contact and is designed to remain in place for several days in contact with urine. The opening can be cut to the exact contour of the stoma, up to 51 mm (2 in).
