Accuseal Night Drainage Set with Container and Tubing
$108.96
When osteoarthritis mainly affects one side of the knee, pressure is constantly concentrated in the same spot, making walking painful. The SecuTec OA addresses this specific issue by slightly adjusting the position of the lower leg, up to 12° inwards or outwards. This shifts the pressure to the healthy part of the joint, reduces cartilage friction, and lessens the strain on ligaments.
- The aluminum frame remains light while firmly supporting the knee with every step
- Quick-release fasteners detach with a single movement, convenient for wound care or a physiotherapy session
- The calf shell conforms to the leg's shape, and gel pads distribute pressure under the straps
Adjustments are made by a professional in-store, after measurements are taken.
The SecuTec OA is also suitable after a torn cruciate ligament, meniscus or cartilage surgery, when the knee needs to be supported without being immobilised. Its frame remains slim and can be worn under trousers, and the range of flexion remains preserved.
